Nutritional kits distributed to AIDS-affected persons
In Vijayawada, two groups that help people gave out 50 special food packages to people who have AIDS.
A doctor who helps people with AIDS talked to everyone there.
He said it's important for people to know about AIDS so they don't get sick and so others don't make fun of them.
He also said that besides medicine, these people need friends and love to feel good.
Many people, including those who got the food packages, were there to listen and help.
Nutritional kits were distributed to AIDS-affected persons in Vijayawada.
The event was organized by Dr Brahmadesam Social Service Society and Helping Together Charitable Trust.
50 nutritional kits were distributed to beneficiaries.
ART counsellor Kanakala Vara Prasad attended as the chief guest.
Vara Prasad emphasized the importance of awareness, prevention, and social support for AIDS-affected persons.
