Major Police Reshuffles in UP and Telangana

The governments of Uttar Pradesh and Telangana have made big changes in their police departments.

In Uttar Pradesh, 20 senior police officers have been moved to new jobs.

Some officers have been promoted, and others have been given new responsibilities.

For example, Sanjeev Gupta is no longer in charge of the Prayagraj Zone and has been moved to Lucknow.

Jyoti Narayan will now lead the Prayagraj Zone.

Aparna Kumar is the new Joint Commissioner of Police in Lucknow.

Kiran S. has returned from a central job and is now in charge of the Lucknow Range.

Many other officers have also been moved to different positions.

These changes help keep the police department working well by giving officers new challenges and responsibilities.

In Telangana, 20 senior police officers have also been transferred across the Greater Hyderabad jurisdictions.

The reshuffle follows the creation of several new police zones and the establishment of the Future City Commissionerate.

Tafseer Iqubal is now the Additional Commissioner of Police for the South Range, and N Swetha is the new Joint Commissioner of Police for the North Range.

SM Vijay Kumar is the new Joint Commissioner of Police for the Special Branch in Hyderabad City.

Sadhana Rashmi Perumal is the new Commissioner of Police for Siddipet.

These changes aim to improve administrative efficiency and better manage the city’s rapid geographical expansion.
