Congress Walks Out Over Farmers' Compensation in MP Assembly

In the Madhya Pradesh state assembly, Congress MLAs walked out because they were unhappy with the Chief Minister's answer about money given to farmers whose crops were damaged by heavy rain.

The Congress said the government wasn't giving enough money to the farmers.

The Chief Minister said his government was giving four times more money than the previous Congress government.

The Congress MLAs shouted and left the assembly because they didn't agree with the government's answer.

Another Congress MLA also walked out because he wasn't happy with the government's reply about crop damage in the Gwalior division.

The Congress also questioned the government about how it was spending extra money in the budget, saying it was being wasted or not used properly.

The BJP defended the budget, saying it was good for things like land records and helping students go to Japan for school.
