SC to Examine NEET-PG 2025 Non-Disclosure Policy
The Supreme Court of India is going to look into a complaint about the NEET-PG 2025 exam.
The complaint is about not sharing the question papers and answer keys with the students.
The court is not sure why this is being done and wants to understand the reason.
The National Board of Examinations, which runs the exam, says they don't share these to protect the questions from being misused, especially by coaching centers.
The students say this makes it hard for them to see exactly which questions they answered.
The court has asked the government and the exam board to explain why they are not sharing the answer keys.
The Supreme Court agreed to examine a plea challenging the non-disclosure of NEET-PG 2025 question papers and answer keys.
Justices P S Narasimha and Vijay Bishnoi expressed doubts about the policy and will hear the matter in detail.
The National Board of Examinations claims the non-disclosure policy protects the 'national asset' from misuse, especially by the coaching industry.
Petitioners argue that the current format prevents candidates from seeing a clear, candidate-wise view of the questions they attempted.
Notices were issued to the Centre and the National Board of Examinations on September 26, 2023.
