Ashoka Buildcon Shares Surge on ₹602-Crore RVNL Order
Ashoka Buildcon won a large railway-related contract worth ₹602.16 crore.
The contract came from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited.
It involves installing electrical and mechanical systems in four railway tunnels in Uttarakhand.
The systems include power equipment, lighting, ventilation and firefighting equipment.
The company has 30 months to finish the project after work begins.
Its shares rose nearly 15% after the order was announced.
This was the stock’s biggest one-day gain in more than six years.
However, the shares were still about 25% lower so far in 2026.
The company had also recently secured a transmission project in Maharashtra.

Ashoka Buildcon must complete the work within 30 months and submit a ₹25.51-crore performance bank guarantee.
The company also received a Maharashtra transmission project with annual transmission charges of approximately ₹126.5 crore.
