Ashoka Buildcon Shares Surge on ₹602-Crore RVNL Order
Ashoka Buildcon won a large railway-related contract worth ₹602.16 crore.
The contract came from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited.
It involves installing electrical and mechanical systems in four railway tunnels in Uttarakhand.
The systems include power equipment, lighting, ventilation and firefighting equipment.

Ashoka Buildcon must complete the work within 30 months and submit a ₹25.51-crore performance bank guarantee.
The company also received a Maharashtra transmission project with annual transmission charges of approximately ₹126.5 crore.
