Surrendered Naxals Await Approval To Return Home

Thirteen former Naxals surrendered to Madhya Pradesh Police.

This happened on December 7, 2025.

They are staying in Balaghat while officials arrange their return home.

Twelve of them come from villages in Chhattisgarh or Maharashtra.

One person is from Balaghat.

The group learned useful jobs such as driving, electrical work and tailoring.

They also received identity documents, health and ration cards, and bank accounts.

Government officials are waiting for approval from four districts.

After those approvals arrive, the former Naxals can go back to their home villages and receive financial assistance.
