UP Expands Aadhaar Services to Rural Gram Panchayats

The Uttar Pradesh government has started Aadhaar services in 110 Gram Panchayats across six districts.

This means people in rural areas can now get their Aadhaar cards made or updated without traveling to cities.

The government plans to expand this service to all 57,694 Gram Panchayats in the state.

They are training Panchayat Assistants to help with these services.

This initiative will save time and money for rural residents and also help Gram Panchayats earn more revenue.

The goal is to make Gram Panchayats digital service centers in the future.
