CM Shivakumar to launch Rs 3,200-crore projects at Malur convention
There is going to be a very big community meeting in a town called Malur.
The Chief Minister, D.K. Shivakumar, will come there for the first time since he became the leader of the state.
He will be joined by the Deputy Chief Minister, Dr. G. Parameshwara, and other important leaders.
At the meeting, they will start or open new projects that cost almost Rs.
3,200 crore.
These projects include a new flyover, better and cleaner lakes, a new bus stand, and new hospital buildings.
The leaders will also give out benefits to 28,240 people from Malur under government help programs.
Organisers think between 50,000 and 60,000 people will come to watch and celebrate.
The meeting was planned for earlier, but it was moved to August 10 because the Chief Minister needed to pick new cabinet members first.
The leaders say the event shows all the good work the government is doing and how strong their party is in the area.
Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar will make his first official visit to Kolar district at the Malur convention on August 10.
