Urban Company Shares Surge 18% on Strong Q1 Earnings
Urban Company is a company that lets people book home and beauty services online.
On August 3, 2026, its shares jumped 18% because the company announced it made a lot of money in its first quarter of the year.
The company grew its sales and the number of orders it handled, even though it still lost a little money because it spent a lot on a new service called InstaHelp.
Investors liked the growth and the company’s future plans, so they bought more shares.
The share price is now at a 12‑week high, but it is still below the record high it reached after it first listed on the stock market.
Urban Company shares rose 18% to ₹152 after Q1 earnings on August 3, 2026.
Quarterly NTV grew 42% YoY to ₹1,465 crore and revenue rose 44% YoY to ₹528 crore.
The company posted a net loss of ₹92.1 crore, up from a profit of ₹6.9 crore the previous year.
Orders reached 13.2 million, a 79% YoY increase, and new users added 1.2 million.
InstaHelp, a new quick‑household‑help venture, recorded 3.82 million orders and a ₹53 crore NTV.
