Inside Ajinkya Rahane’s Five-Bedroom Igatpuri Family Retreat
Ajinkya Rahane and his wife showed people their holiday home in Igatpuri.
It has five bedrooms and views of mountains and a lake.
The home also has a swimming pool, gardens and places for children to play.
Rahane wanted it to remind him of holidays at his grandmother’s house.
He hopes his children can enjoy playing outdoors there too.
One room is filled with things he collected during his cricket career.
He says seeing those items brings back strong memories.
The home was built after the Covid-19 pandemic.
Ajinkya Rahane and his wife, Radhika Dhopavkar, shared a tour of their holiday home, Raaya Estate, in Igatpuri, Maharashtra.
The five-bedroom villa was built after the Covid-19 pandemic and overlooks Vaitarna Lake and the Sahyadri mountains.
Its features include an infinity pool, gardens, a gazebo, a children’s play area, an in-house bar and balconies.
Rahane said he wanted the home to recall outdoor holidays at his grandmother’s house and give his children room to play.
A dedicated room displays cricket memorabilia, including bats, balls, caps, jerseys and photographs from his career.
