Tejaswin Shankar Wins India's First Commonwealth Decathlon Bronze
Tejaswin Shankar is an Indian athlete who competes in the decathlon, which is a race that has ten different track and field events.
He was playing at the Commonwealth Games, a big sports competition for countries that used to be part of the British Empire.
While he was doing the high‑jump part of the decathlon, he hurt his knee.
Because of the injury, he almost decided not to keep competing.
He changed his mind and tried to finish the decathlon, but his knee made it hard.
