Govt to air influencer content on DD News
The government is giving content creators a special 30-minute time slot on DD News and its digital platforms.
This is called the 'Creator's Corner' and will be shown five days a week at 7 PM, with a repeat the next morning.
The content will be short, between 2 and 10 minutes, and will be chosen by an independent team.
The creators will get most of the money made from these shows, 90%, while the government keeps 10%.
This is the first time content creators will be on a big media network like this.
The government also said they will make big changes to how they run the broadcasting system to make it better for new creators and technology.
Prasar Bharati is offering a 30-minute prime time slot for content creators on DD News and its digital platforms.
The 'Creator's Corner' will air Monday to Friday at 7 PM, with a repeat telecast at 9:30 AM from Tuesday to Saturday.
Content will range from 2 to 10 minutes and will be sourced from vetted applications.
Creators will receive 90% of the revenue generated, with Prasar Bharati retaining 10%.
This initiative is part of a broader reform in the functioning of Prasar Bharati, aiming to align with modern technology and creator needs.
