Odisha Revises Urban Poll Ward Delimitation Schedule
Odisha is changing the timetable for preparing its next urban elections.
The process decides city ward boundaries and which seats will be reserved.
District collectors will publish a draft plan on September 24.
People can send objections or suggestions until October 3.
A preliminary plan will be released on October 7.
Appeals can be filed from October 7 to October 21.
The government will consider those appeals and decide them between October 26 and 28.
Final notifications for municipalities and Notified Area Councils are due by October 31.
Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Berhampur and Rourkela have a separate schedule.

A preliminary notification is scheduled for October 7, with appeals accepted through October 21.
The state government will decide appeals between October 26 and 28, after collectors forward recommendations by October 22.
Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Berhampur and Rourkela will follow a separate timeline, including a public draft process from October 5 to 14.
