India's July Flash PMI Climbs to 60.7, Led by Manufacturing
India's economy is doing well!
A survey called the PMI shows how much companies are producing.
In July, the overall PMI score was high, meaning businesses grew a lot.
This was mainly because factories made more things, and demand was strong.
Even though the service sector also grew, it wasn't as fast as before.
Companies are selling more goods, and they're also getting more orders from other countries.
However, things are getting a bit more expensive, and although there are more jobs, businesses are less sure about the future compared to before.
India's private sector showed robust growth in July, driven by manufacturing and global demand.
The HSBC Flash India Composite PMI Output Index rose to 60.7 in July from 58.4 in June.
Manufacturing PMI climbed to 59.2 in July, its highest level in nearly 17.5 years.
Services PMI was 59.8 in July, down from 60.4 in June, with a softened expansion pace.
Inflationary pressures increased as both input costs and output charges rose in July.
