Pakistan imposes night curfew in Balochistan's Surab district

A place called Balochistan is part of a country called Pakistan.

The government of Pakistan put a special rule called a curfew in one part of it, called Surab.

A curfew means people must stay inside their homes at certain times.

The rule says everyone must stay home from 8 o'clock at night until 9 o'clock in the morning.

The curfew will last from August 9 until August 15.

The government said the curfew is needed because of the law and order situation in the area.

In a nearby area called Khuzdar, shops, markets and hotels were also told to close at night.

Some people and human rights groups are upset about what is happening in the region.

They say that security forces took a young worker away without telling anyone where he is.

They also say that another person was shot, and they are asking for safety and justice for Baloch people.
