Wall Street Drops Amid AI Sell-Off
Wall Street had a bad day on Wednesday.
The Dow Jones, S&P 500, and Nasdaq all went down because some big tech companies like Oracle had problems.
Oracle's shares fell after a report said a big deal might not happen, even though Oracle said the deal is still on track.
Other tech companies also lost value.
But there was some good news: Micron, a company that makes parts for computers, did well and its shares went up.
People are also waiting for news about inflation, which will come out later.
The US dollar is staying strong, and gold and silver prices are high.
Oil prices are going up too, because the US said it might punish Russia more if it doesn't make peace with Ukraine.
Wall Street indices fell due to AI-linked sell-off, led by Oracle's 5% drop.
Dow Jones down 1,000 points from last Friday's record high.
S&P 500 and Nasdaq closed below their 50-Day Moving Averages.
Micron's shares rose 8% after strong results, indicating company-specific issues.
Fed Governor Christopher Waller suggested no rush in lowering interest rates due to high inflation.
