Bhiwandi NCP Uses Ganpati Protest to Demand Pothole Repairs

A political party held a special protest in Bhiwandi because many roads have large potholes.

The protest happened at Kalyan Naka, where traffic is heavy.

Protesters placed a large model of Lord Ganpati in a pothole area.

They wanted to show how difficult and unsafe the roads have become.

The party said about Rs 2.5 crore had already been spent on road repairs before the monsoon.

Its leader questioned why the roads became damaged again after the rains.

He asked officials to explain how the money was used and check the quality of the repairs.

The party warned that it may hold stronger protests if the roads are not fixed soon.
