Supreme Court Suspends YouTuber's Contempt Sentence

The Supreme Court in India has temporarily stopped a punishment given to a YouTuber named Gulshan Pahuja.

The Delhi High Court had sentenced him to six months in jail because some of his videos were seen as disrespectful to the court and judges.

The Supreme Court has now said he can be released from jail while they look into his case.

The High Court also said that Pahuja's videos, which were on his channel 'Fight 4 Judicial Reforms', were not protected as free speech.

The case started when a civil judge noticed some of Pahuja's videos and banners that were critical of the judicial system.
