Michigan's Jordan Marshall Injured Shoulder, Status for Maryland Game Uncertain
A star football player for the Michigan team, Jordan Marshall, hurt his shoulder during a game.
He was running with the ball and got tackled in a way that made him land on his shoulder.
He couldn't finish the game because it hurt a lot.
This is tough because another player on his team is already hurt and can't play.
The coaches hope he will be okay to play in the next game, but they are waiting to see.
It made the team struggle a bit when he had to leave the field.
Michigan running back Jordan Marshall injured his right shoulder in the fourth quarter against Northwestern.
Marshall had a strong performance before his injury, rushing for 142 yards and two touchdowns.
X-rays on Marshall's shoulder were negative, according to head coach Sherrone Moore.
Marshall's injury adds to concerns for Michigan's running back depth, with Justice Haynes already out for the season.
Coach Moore indicated Marshall should be able to play in the upcoming game against Maryland, though his status was initially uncertain.
