New Zealand Launches Parent Boost Visa for Extended Stays
New Zealand is creating a new visa called the Parent Boost Visitor Visa to let parents of people living in NZ visit for longer.
If you are a parent and don't have any kids who depend on you, and your grown-up child is a NZ citizen or resident, they can sponsor you.
You'll need to meet health and character standards.
The visa lets you stay up to five years and leave/return freely.
After 3 years, you will need to undergo a compliance check.
You will also need health insurance for the entire time.
It's a great way for families to be together for extended periods.
