Delhi LG Acquitted in 2000 Defamation Case

Delhi LG Acquitted in 2000 Defamation Case

A court in Delhi has said that the Delhi Lieutenant Governor, VK Saxena, is not guilty in a case about saying bad things about someone.

The person who said he was hurt, Medha Patkar, had a problem with an ad that Saxena put out a long time ago, in 2000.

The judge said there wasn't enough proof to show that Saxena did something wrong.

So, Saxena doesn't have to face any punishment for this.

The judge also said that Medha Patkar tried to delay the trial, but it wasn't allowed.

Both of them had filed cases against each other a long time ago.
