GTA 6 Likely to Avoid Rs 9,000 Price Tag in India

There have been rumors that Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) might cost Rs 9,000 in India.

However, a former Rockstar Games developer named Obbe Vermeij thinks this is unlikely.

He believes the game will be priced like other big games to attract as many players as possible.

The game will make money over time through its online features, just like GTA 5 did.

The expected price in India is around Rs 6,000 for the standard edition, and up to Rs 10,000 for special editions.

The game is set to launch on November 19, 2026, for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, with a PC version coming later.

It will take place in Vice City and follow the story of two characters named Jason and Lucia.
