IIT Delhi Details Student Welfare Measures After Campus Death

IIT Delhi says students should feel heard and supported at college.

It made this statement after a student recently died on campus.

The institute listed several ways it says it is helping students.

These include mental healthcare, mentors and a system for handling complaints.

The college also says students have more flexibility in their studies.

A new curriculum introduced in 2025 reduced the number of first-semester credits.

It also added courses about life skills.

First-year classes are smaller, and fewer exams are held on weekends.
