ISRO Director Interacts with Students in UP
Dr. Nilesh Desai, the director of a big space center called ISRO, talked to about 1,500 school kids in a place called Mau in Uttar Pradesh.
He opened a special lab for space and science learning at a school.
He also answered questions about space and future jobs in this field.
The local leaders were happy that the kids got to meet such an important scientist.
Before this, some kids from Mau even visited the space center in Gujarat to learn more about satellites and robots.
The goal is to make kids more interested in science and space.
Dr. Nilesh M Desai, Director of ISRO's Space Applications Centre, interacted with 1,500 students in Mau, Uttar Pradesh.
He inaugurated the Space and STEM Laboratory at Dharauli Primary School, named after him.
Desai emphasized the importance of scientific thinking for India's global position.
Mau District Magistrate and Chief Development Officer highlighted the significance of such interactions for nurturing scientific temperament among children.
In May, 13 students from Mau visited ISRO's Space Applications Centre in Gujarat for a learning experience.
