Maharashtra Mountaineering Federation Announces Fort Heritage, Safety Initiatives
Imagine a big group of people who love mountains and history getting together.
They had a meeting and decided to do some cool things!
They want to celebrate mountains on December 11 and teach people about them.
They'll also focus on Shivaji Maharaj's forts, which are like old castles, and want to help everyone learn more about them.
They are also making sure everyone stays safe while climbing mountains.
They even elected a new leader who is really good at climbing mountains to help them with their plans.
The Akhil Maharashtra Giryarohan Mahasangh held its 34th AGM.
The meeting took place in Valane, Mulshi taluka.
Members will celebrate International Mountain Day on December 11.
An awareness campaign is planned for Shivaji Maharaj's forts.
The federation will focus on safety in trekking and mountaineering.
