Jaipur deaf school protest: Rajasthan suspends principal as Gehlot, Pilot back students

Students at a school in Jaipur for children who are deaf or hard of hearing held a protest.

They said their school building is old and broken, and there are not enough trained teachers or good facilities.

Many children with disabilities had to stand on the street so the government would listen to them.

The same week, the Rajasthan government suspended the school's former principal, Bharat Joshi.

It also started an inquiry into charges that the school was not being managed well.

Two important Congress leaders, Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot, visited and supported the students.

Gehlot asked the Chief Minister to set up a special committee to fix the problems quickly.

A new committee has been told to investigate and give a report as soon as possible.

Now everyone is waiting to see what the government will do next.
