Ranbir Kapoor Stars as Rama and Parashurama in New Ramayana
A new movie called Ramayana is coming out for Diwali.
It is about the story of Lord Rama from the ancient book Valmiki's Ramayana.
The famous actor Ranbir Kapoor will play two characters: Lord Rama and his older brother Parashurama.
In the story, Parashurama is angry when Rama breaks a special bow, but they later talk and learn that Rama is a god.
The film shows how the two gods are connected and why they are important in the story.
Ranbir Kapoor stars as both Lord Rama and Parashurama in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana.
The film adapts Valmiki’s epic and highlights the brief encounter between Rama and Parashurama after the bow breaks.
Parashurama is the 6th avatar of Vishnu, Rama the 7th, showing their divine lineage.
The trailer released ahead of the Diwali 2024 release, sparking fan discussions about the double role.
Kapoor explained that the roles illustrate Vishnu’s avatars and the connection between the two characters.
