Ariana Grande Tells Trump: Never Use My Music Again
A TikTok account supporting Donald Trump used one of Ariana Grande’s songs in a political video.
The video showed Trump walking toward a podium.
It used lyrics from the song and then displayed statements about transgender people and women’s sports.
Ariana Grande saw the video and told Trump not to use her music again.
She also said that the message in the video was false.
Her record label is reportedly trying to remove the song.
This was not the first time her music appeared in Trump-related political content.
In June, she objected to another video using her song while showing Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrests.
Team Trump used Ariana Grande’s “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait For Your Love)” in a TikTok video.
The video paired Grande’s lyrics with statements about transgender people, pregnancy, and women’s sports.
Grande replied, “Never use my music again,” and said the post’s “truth is false.”
Her record label is reportedly seeking removal of the song from the TikTok post.
Grande previously objected to her song “Bye” being used in a video about Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrests.
