Oil Tanker Halts in Hormuz After Iran Targets Vessels
An oil tanker named Kavomaleas stopped in the Strait of Hormuz near Oman.
The Iranian Navy said it targeted four vessels that didn't follow their warnings and had their tracking devices off.
The tanker was managed by a Greek company and was supposed to pick up oil in the Persian Gulf.
The area is very busy with ships, but many turn off their tracking to avoid being seen.
This has made people worried about the safety of ships passing through the strait.
Some ships are still trying to go through, but it's risky.

UK Maritime Trade Operations reported a vessel on fire northwest of Kumzar, Oman, near Kavomaleas's location.
Dynacom Tankers Management, the company managing Kavomaleas, was among the first to remove tankers from the Gulf with transponders off.
