AIMIM Leader Threatens Action Over Hijab Row
A leader named Imtiaz Jaleel from a political party called AIMIM made a strong statement at a rally in Jalna, Maharashtra.
He said that if anyone touches Muslim women with bad intentions, he would cut off their hand.
This came after a minister from Uttar Pradesh made a comment about Bihar's Chief Minister Nitish Kumar pulling a hijab off a woman's face.
Jaleel also criticized other political parties, saying they support criminals but not Muslims.
He even joked about other party symbols, like asking leaders not to wear watches for a month, which was a dig at the NCP's clock symbol.
AIMIM leader Imtiaz Jaleel threatened to cut off the hand of anyone touching Muslim women with ill intent.
The statement was made in response to a controversial remark by Uttar Pradesh minister Sanjay Nishad.
Jaleel criticized secular parties for supporting criminals but not Muslims.
He mocked Maharashtra Social Justice Minister Sanjay Shirsat's demand to freeze AIMIM's 'kite' election symbol.
Jaleel also joked about Shiv Sena and BJP leaders not wearing watches, targeting the NCP's 'clock' symbol.
