TTP Attacks Police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
A group called Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) attacked a police car in Pakistan.
They used a bomb to blow up the car and then shot at the police officers.
Seven police officers died in the attack.
The police were on duty in a place called Tank in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Pakistani government said the police officers died to keep the country safe.
There have been many attacks like this recently in Pakistan, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
Pakistan says the Afghan Taliban are helping the TTP, but Afghanistan says that's not true.
There was a big fight between Pakistan and Afghanistan last year, but they are trying to make peace now.
A video shows TTP members attacking a Pakistani police armored vehicle with an IED in Tank district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Seven police personnel, including a Station House Officer and a Sub-Inspector, were killed in the blast and subsequent shooting.
The attack is part of a surge in terrorist activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces.
Pakistan has accused the Afghan Taliban of providing safe haven to TTP terrorists, a claim denied by Kabul.
Pakistan and Afghanistan are currently in a fragile truce following border clashes in October 2025.
