Jannik Sinner Withdraws From Cincinnati Open With Knee Injury

Jannik Sinner is one of the best tennis players in the world — he is the number one player.

But his right knee is hurting and has not gotten better yet.

Because of this, he decided to pull out of a big tennis tournament called the Cincinnati Open.

He said he is very disappointed not to play, but his body is not ready.

He wants to rest and get healthy so he can play in the US Open, which starts on August 30 in New York.

Another great player, Carlos Alcaraz, also cannot play in Cincinnati because he has a wrist injury.

Both champions are taking time off to be ready for the US Open, one of the biggest tournaments of the year.

Sinner's last match was the Wimbledon final about a month ago, where he won and defended his title.

Now everyone is hoping his knee heals quickly so he can get back on the court.
