Modi Launches BRICS Stamps as Summit Adopts Declaration

Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted the BRICS summit in New Delhi.

BRICS countries are working together on issues such as development, trade, technology and finance.

Modi released two stamps to mark 20 years of BRICS.

The countries also agreed on a document called the New Delhi Declaration 2026.

The declaration supports solving international disagreements through talks and diplomacy.

It also criticizes trade barriers that do not follow World Trade Organization rules.

The countries reached agreement after long negotiations involving nations with different views.

Modi suggested 10 ideas to improve how countries are represented and work together globally.

He also proposed better support for seafarers in emergencies.

He said Global South countries should have a stronger role in making international rules.
