Yadav: MP, CM's Aide Allegedly Hold Multiple Voter IDs
A politician named Tejashwi Yadav says that a Member of Parliament (MP) and a Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) have more than one voter ID card.
He thinks this might be against the rules.
The Election Commission (EC) has sent notices to the MP and the MLC to ask about it.
The MP says she doesn't know how her name ended up on a second list.
Yadav questions if the EC is letting this happen on purpose.
The EC is investigating the claims.
Tejashwi Yadav alleged that Veena Devi and Dinesh Singh, an MP and MLC respectively, possess multiple voter IDs.
The Election Commission issued notices to Veena Devi and Dinesh Singh regarding the allegations.
Yadav claims Dinesh Singh has two EPIC IDs registered in different constituencies.
Yadav states Veena Devi also has two EPIC IDs from different district administrations.
