EDII Proposes Entrepreneurship Institute in Mizoram
The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) wants to build a new institute in Mizoram.
They met with the state's Chief Minister to discuss this plan.
The institute would help people learn about starting their own businesses, gain new skills, and get help with their startups.
EDII will use money from special programs and other sources if the state gives them land.
The institute would initially focus on training and support for five years, with plans to expand.
The Chief Minister has agreed to form a group to help make this happen.
EDII proposed establishing the Mizoram Entrepreneurship Development Institute (MEDI).
The institute will focus on entrepreneurship, skill training, startups, and mentoring.
EDII is willing to use CSR and other funds for the project.
The state government will provide land for the institute.
A coordination committee will be formed to effectively pursue the matter.
