Madhya Pradesh Police E-HRMS System Launching in February
The Madhya Pradesh Police are getting a new digital system called E-HRMS.
This system will help over 100,000 police officers manage their work more easily.
Starting in February, they can apply for leave and check their records online.
The old system, called PIS, was very old and needed to be replaced.
The new system will make things faster and more efficient.
Police officers can now see their annual reports, rewards, and punishments with just a click.
This new system will help the police take care of the over 8 crore people in Madhya Pradesh better.
The E-HRMS system will go live in the first week of February for over 1 lakh police personnel in Madhya Pradesh.
The outdated Personal Information System (PIS) used by the police stopped functioning, prompting the development of E-HRMS.
E-HRMS will allow personnel to submit and sanction leave applications online, view annual confidential reports, and access personal records.
The new system aims to streamline internal processes, reducing the time taken for administrative tasks like leave applications and deputations.
Records of over 1 lakh personnel have been uploaded to E-HRMS, with around 2,000 personnel's details yet to be added.
