Mumbai Woman Accused of Faking Husband’s Death to Sell Flat
Ryan Crasta and Shalini Diana Crasta were married in 2007.
They later separated but jointly owned a flat in Borivali, Mumbai.
Ryan says Shalini sold the flat without asking him.
He alleges that she used false papers to make the sale possible.
One of the papers was reportedly a fake death certificate saying Ryan had died.
The flat was bought in 2016 for Rs 73.80 lakh.
The couple had also taken a Rs 56 lakh loan, which Ryan says he repaid through instalments.
Shalini was arrested and taken to a magistrate court.
