Delhi Police Launch 24/7 Integrated Help Desks at All Stations
Imagine going to a police station to report something.
Now, instead of talking to different people for different problems, you'll go to one special desk called the Integrated Help Desk.
This desk is open all day and night, every day.
It's like a helpful front door for everyone.
You can go there to file any kind of complaint, especially if it's about computer crimes.
They will also help people who are feeling sad or scared, like women, kids, and older people.
This new desk has computers to help track your complaint.
If it takes too long to solve, a light on the computer screen will turn red to show it needs more attention.
This way, the police bosses can see if people are getting help quickly and fairly.
Delhi Police have established 24/7 Integrated Help Desks (IHD) at all police stations.
The IHD serves as the primary point of contact for all visitors and complainants.
Services include complaint registration, cybercrime reporting, and assistance to individuals in distress.
A color-coded system on computer terminals will monitor complaint resolution times.
Existing help desks have been amalgamated into this single, integrated platform.
