Everpure Sees India AI Opportunity Beyond Storage

Everpure used to be called Pure Storage and is now focusing on more than storing information.

It wants to help businesses manage and use their data.

India creates a large share of the world's data, but has a much smaller share of its data centre capacity.

Everpure says businesses are still learning how to use AI at work.

Some new AI uses need faster access to data.

Companies may choose cloud services, their own computers, or a mix of both.

Everpure says businesses should stay flexible while these choices change.

It also expects some organisations, such as banks and hospitals, to keep important systems partly on their own infrastructure.

Its Bengaluru research centre is one of three global innovation hubs.
