Pakistani National Apprehended Near Jammu Border
A man named Mohammad Rafiq from Pakistan was caught by the Border Security Force (BSF) near the border in Jammu.
He said he was trying to visit his sister in India but got lost and crossed the border by mistake.
The BSF found some items on him, like his ID card and some food.
The BSF is still questioning him.
Some officials think this might not be a mistake but part of a plan by Pakistan's intelligence agency to check the border for weak spots.
They are investigating to find out the truth.
A Pakistani national, Mohammad Rafiq (53) alias Kala, was apprehended by the BSF near the International Border in Jammu's Akhnoor sector.
He claimed to have lost his way and accidentally crossed the border to meet his sister in Jung village.
The BSF recovered several items from him, including a Pakistani national identity card and some food.
Security agencies suspect this may be part of a larger design by Pakistan's ISI to reconnoiter border vulnerabilities.
A detailed probe is underway to ascertain whether this was a case of accidental crossing or a deliberate attempt with ulterior motives.
