US Army Secretary Visits India for Defence Talks and Arms Deals

The US Army Secretary, Daniel P. Driscoll, is visiting India with a team to talk about defence and buy some weapons.

They will meet important Indian leaders like the External Affairs Minister and Defence Minister.

The US wants to sell India special artillery shells and missiles worth $93 million.

They will also discuss making some engine parts together with an Indian company.

The team will visit a special army group in Agra and watch the Republic Day parade before going back to the US.

This visit is important because the US and India want to work together more, even though they have some disagreements about trade.
