NEET UG 2026: MCC Advisory Allows Delhi Quota Registration Unlock
In India, students who want to become doctors must pass a big test called NEET UG.
After the test, a group called the Medical Counselling Committee, or MCC, helps students pick which medical college they will go to.
In Delhi, some seats are reserved under a special rule called the 85% Delhi quota.
Some students forgot to choose the Delhi quota seats when they first signed up for counselling.
The MCC now says those students can go back and unlock their registration.
They can then apply for MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing seats in Delhi colleges.
The MCC also made a list of students who qualify for a special group called the Children and Widow (CW) category.
Students on that list can get seats in courses like MBBS, BAMS, BUMS, and BHMS.
Everyone should check the official MCC website to see the lists and follow the instructions to apply.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) issued an advisory for NEET UG 2026 candidates who missed selecting Delhi's 85% quota seats during initial registration.
Eligible candidates can now unlock their registration and apply for DU/IP (VMMC/RML) MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing seats under the Delhi quota.
MCC released a supplementary list of candidates eligible under the Children and Widow (CW) category for undergraduate medical courses under the 85% Delhi quota.
The CW list covers courses including MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS and BHMS, and includes details such as candidate name, NEET roll number, All India Rank (AIR), CW category and priority.
The official MCC website also posted a notice regarding the reopening of the CW portal for the counselling process.
