CBI Arrests Doctor, NTA Officials in NEET 2025 Exam Fraud Case
A doctor named Dr. Shah and some officials from the organization that runs the NEET exam were arrested by CBI.
They were caught trying to change students' scores on the NEET test.
The doctor asked for a lot of money, about 87.5 lakh rupees, from people pretending to be parents.
He promised to change the scores of students who didn't pass the test for 90 lakh rupees.
This is different from last year's problems, which were blamed on mistakes, and this time suggests intentional cheating.
CBI arrested Dr. Sandeep Jawahar Shah and unnamed NTA officials for NEET 2025 marks manipulation.
Shah allegedly demanded Rs 87.5 lakh from undercover CBI officers posing as parents.
The CBI conducted a sting operation at the ITC Grand Central hotel in Parel, Mumbai.
Shah, a partner in Indi Biosearch, allegedly offered to upgrade NEET scores for Rs 90 lakh.
The case suggests 'active collusion and criminal intent' within NTA, unlike previous 'procedural mishaps'.
