Protest Against Hinduja Coal Trucks in Anakapalle
People in Anakapalle are very upset because big trucks carrying coal are making a lot of dust and causing problems.
The dust is covering the roads and making it hard for people to live in the area.
They are also worried about accidents because the roads are getting damaged.
So, they had a protest to ask the government to stop the trucks and make the company transport the coal by train instead.
They want the government to check the trucks and punish those that are breaking the rules.
CITU staged a protest in Anakapalle demanding an immediate halt to Hinduja coal trucks moving through Parawada.
Protesters blocked the road at the Parawada mandal parishad office junction, citing pollution and hazards caused by the trucks.
Gani Shetty Satyanarayana led the protest, alleging that coal dust is blanketing the area and causing health issues for residents.
Protesters demanded raids on overloaded trucks and transportation of coal by rail instead of road.
The protest was attended by CITU members and local villagers, all pressing for immediate action against the coal-dust-laden trucks.
