Nifty Near 52-Week Lows as Key Support Levels Loom

India’s main stock indexes are close to important levels where they may either hold steady or fall further.

Analysts say the Nifty’s 22,000–22,200 range is especially important.

If it falls below that area, it could decline further, with one analyst pointing to 21,750.

For the Nifty to look stronger, it would need to rise above resistance levels around 22,400, and possibly 22,800.

The Sensex is also near a support area, with 71,500 and 71,000 being watched.

High oil prices, rising global bond yields and a weaker rupee are adding to concerns.

Analysts say market volatility may stay high until these pressures ease and the indexes regain key levels.

An oversold reading may mean selling has been intense, but it does not guarantee an immediate recovery.
