CBI Investigates Bihar Illegal VoIP Exchange Case
The CBI is now investigating a case in Bihar where an illegal phone system was found.
This system, called a VoIP exchange, was used to make calls seem local when they were actually international, which can be used for scams or other bad activities.
The main person involved is Mukesh Kumar, who was operating this system in a village called Narayanpur.
Two other people from Malda in West Bengal sold him the SIM cards used in this setup.
The Bihar Police found out about this system last July and handed the case over to the CBI.
The system was found in Kumar's attic and had made over 20,000 calls.
The police think this system might have been used by groups outside the country to talk to people inside without being caught.
The CBI is now looking into all of this to find out more.
