BSE Warns Investors About Fake Deepfake Video
The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has warned investors about a fake video that uses deepfake technology to show their CEO giving stock tips.
The video is not real and promises high profits, asking people to join a WhatsApp channel.
BSE says their CEO and no other officials give stock recommendations or run such groups.
They are asking people to ignore these videos and only trust information from official BSE channels.
BSE is also taking steps to remove the fake video and take legal action against those responsible.
