Iran to Boycott World Cup Draw
Iran is not going to take part in the event where teams are chosen for the 2026 World Cup.
This is because the United States did not give visas to some members of Iran's team.
The Iranian football group said this decision is not about sports but about other things.
They told the people in charge of the World Cup, FIFA, that their team won't be at the event.
Iran will boycott the FIFA World Cup 2026 draw in Washington.
The boycott is due to US visa restrictions on Iranian delegation members.
The Iranian football federation informed FIFA of their decision.
The federation stated the decision is not related to sports.
The announcement was made on Friday.
