A protest was held in Khandwa because many people have reportedly been bitten by stray dogs.

Opposition leader Deepak Rathore brought a person wearing a dog mask to a government hearing.

He said the city spent about ₹40 lakh sterilising stray dogs over four years.

He also said about 13,225 people were bitten during that time.
